Eric Millner

Software developer with a mechatronics background

Infosys-trained Java developer with engineering coursework in electronics and robotics. I build full-stack web applications, simulation games and self-hosted infrastructure, and I bring three years of patient-care experience to work on technology people depend on. Interested in software engineering, robotics and biomedical engineering roles.

Experience

Independent software projects · Self-directed

2024 – present
  • Built ErxStudio, a local AI daemon and desktop GUI in Python that hosts GGUF models through llama.cpp, falls back to API models, and serves an HTTP API to other apps.
  • Develop simulation games in Godot (GDScript and C#): Head Venture, a management sim in early access with a public demo coming, and Eusocial, a biology-grounded colony sim.
  • Run a self-hosted, LAN-only home lab: containerized services, one reverse proxy with DNS-01 certificates, hardware-key-encrypted secrets, and self-hosted Git.
